Design Brief

For this project, I developed an App prototype with sections such as a map and guide, reviews, etc. For the app's development, various information about a specific topic pointing out places, reviews, and general information, has been researched. We were able to practice specifically in UX/UI design development by creating an interface that feels friendly to the user.

Process and Solution:

For the process, I started by brainstorming topics of my interest that may need an app with the same purpose as this assignment. After thinking for some time, I decided to create an app for San Diego Art Museums.  The map and guide section of the app includes some of the most attractive museums that may interest all types of people. Specifically, I wanted to use interactive places with different ratings, which can work with the personas I developed. For the personas, I created 3 of them; one is a single mother with a kid, a 24-year-old college student, and a 49-year-old professor. My intent for the app's user experience was to create an interface that is easy to use for the user and that does not overwhelm it, showing only what is necessary. I decided to use different tonalities of blue and white for the color palette since it gives me that feeling of elegance.
